What To Do On New Years Eve…

Ok, so maybe you already made up your mind about this big night.. If you haven’t, then I’m here to help you out. Usually I prefer to doing nothing so I won’t get disappointed, but when in London… This is a little list of recommended NYE parties from me.

LONDON

FREE! First on my list is Sidetraked at The Hive in Brixton. It’s free (oh yes!), it’s drum&bass upstairs with DJ Storm for 2 hours, Jordan V and the residents Chris Intaface, Systematics, Future Thinkin’ and some more delicious treats. Downstairs we got the Jazz Longe Residents Theo Ackroyd, Stuart Wade aka Down To The Bone (DJ set), Jazz Jon + special Guests. So if you’re with friends that aren’t in to drum&bass, this is the perfect night to get what you want without feeling guilty. Plus, you get to celebrate with us…

Hammersmith (is this London? Yes, it got underground so it have to…). This one costs but might be worth it if you like the sorts of Krome & Time, Nookie, Ratpack, Slipmatt, Uncle Dugs, Jumpin Jack Frost, Devious D, Kenny Ken, Ruffstuff, Brockie, Cold Fusion, Randall and many more. Tickets are ยฃ30 + booking fee. AND THEY GOT A GOSPEL RAVE CHOIR! It’s Raindance.

BRISTOL

Critical Sound celebrates with Die, Cyantific, Foreign Concept, SpectraSoul, Kasra and Commix which looked like an interesting line up. Tickets are ยฃ18 in advance.

NOTTINGHAM

Ok, there will be some dubstep as well but hopefully you’re so ‘festive’ that you won’t think about it… Plus, the drum&bass line up looks like it might be a fun night. Break, Klute, Cyantific, DJ Fresh, D Bridge, Friction, Marcus Intalex, The Prototypes… Tickets from ยฃ30 so it’s a bit of an expensive one but maybe you think the line up will be worth it. Especially if you’re in to the other music we don’t speak so much of…

SOUTHAMPTON

Got to admit, this is one hell of a line up! DJ Die, Maldini (Bad Taste & Bad Company), Jubei, Basher and some more. And warehouse sounds like a place i would love to spend a night raving in.. Ok, it’s Mo Club but in my mind it’s one of those warehouse that held illegal raves in the 90’s. Tickets from ยฃ15 + booking fee.

BIRMINGHAM

ahh, another line up that I would love to see! Dillinja, K-aze aka Lemon-D, Bassline Smith & Drumsound, Hazard plus many more. It’s Valve Sound System so I think you can expect big things from them!

That’s it for tonight people, thanks for reading and all that. Let me know if you got an event you want me to post.

Much Love,
Jenny
