After 10 million years, 30 billion rewinds and trillions dancing to it, TC’s return to all things Drum and Bass is finally released for public consumption.  I don’t think I need to describe this tune to you, as if you’re on this website I’d presume you’ve heard this song played at more than one night you’ve attended in the last 6 months! TC shows once again that by keeping things simple, you can destroy the crowd with a rolling beat and a heavy bassline! No remixes available at this time, so by my reckoning we’ll probably be mid-way through 2012 before we see the barnstorming Taxman remix?   Don’t Play is featured on the flip, and plays to the current TC sound with more of a drumstep feel, perpetuated with wobbling bass, Dread MC’s cracking rhymes and electronic pitched stabs that give you that slow motion moshing vibe that I tend to associate with this sound. Pitching in about 176bpm, it’s a useful tool if you like to jump about between different genres of DnB/Dub Step in your mixes.
