This Friday, Fizzy Fam is having their christmas special with a wicked line up that you just
can’t miss! They got Artificial Intelligence, Eveson, Mr Joseph, Chris Inperspective, Andy Skopes, Paul T, Dave Owen and more. Tickets are £4 from ticket sellers, £5 before midnight and more after. I met up with them to know more about the guys and the night. This is the story so far…

‘It started from doing a free weekly night with dj’s who just wanted the chance to play out to where we are now booking some of the biggest dj’s in the scene and pushing out own label. It is great to think of where we cmae form and where we are now, and this has been achieved by essentially just a group of friends and ravers from different backgrounds drawn together by love of the music and wanting to get involved in the scene and play out.’

What can we expect on this night?
Hopefully just pure Xmas party-vibes. The night is only a £5er so we are hoping that will encourage anyone and everyone to just come down have a few drinks and let their hair down whilst listening to some great music. We’ll get some festive Fizzy decorations on the go aswell, to help get people in the mood.

For who are you doing these drum&bass nights?
Haha, anyone who enjoys life, drinking and music. Our nights are not snobbish even though we keep the music serious, we want people to have fun.

Tell us more about this line up…
You have A.I who are one of the biggest names in dnb the last few years, with a recent album on V and they tour all over the world. They don’t really need any introduction, btu we have been booking them for years now, so it is nice to have them back for this one. Eveson is one of the biggest nu-skoolers around, an accomplished dj aswell as one of the top Liquid producers.
We have our own Mr Joseph, currently blowing up in the dnb scene right now with an ep on V and his latest release on our own Fizzy beats label. The rest of the line-up are guys we are trying to push through our own label Fizzy beats, and have been friends of the camp for a good while. The line-up is music, the music is solid, it is a win-win situation really.

Anything to look forward to in the future?
2012 I suppose… haha. Yeah we are gonna keep doing the nights, keep doing the label, everything people know us for, but just bigger and better for 2012
