Conspire is known for his atmospheric sets at Perception; a drum and bass night located in Shrewsbury that keep locals up to date with new producers and Djs.

He agreed to make us an exclusive guest mix and answer a few questions…

Conspire, I’ve noticed that you’ve been very busy djing at quite alot of drum&bass events lately. Have you had any time to sit back in the studio and continue with your production?

– Yes, I’m in the studio a lot of my spare time at the moment, working on various projects with various artists as well as solo projects.

Any forthcoming releases?

– Yes, I have another EP forthcoming on Soul Deep Exclusives, a Release on Liquid Drops, tracks dropping on albums for DNBB Recordings & Soul Flex Digital. And a few others have approached me for music for their label that i will be working on in the near future.

Are you influenced by any producers at present?

– Blade, Calibre, Payback, A.K.A, Phatplayaz, Jrumhand, Soul Connection, SoulStructure, Rowpieces, MJT & SoulTec to name a few, i could go on all night! So many good producers round at the minute.

Any forthcoming events you would like to share with us?

– This Sunday Perception Hosts Makoto as part of his Tour, we have a few things in the pipeline for future dates but will announce that nearer to the event date.
