For the very first time Maduk & Friends touches down in the UK on 18th of March for an intimate event at Village Underground. A full night of drum & bass with an XXL Maduk set showcasing his most recent album ‘Transformations’ released on Liquicity.
Liquicity started off as a YouTube channel by Mark’s good friend Maris featuring upcoming liquid drum&bass artists. The label was started in 2012 based on the widespread attention the channel had gotten. Mark (Maduk) joined the label with his first release ‘Avalon EP’ in the same year and stayed as a co-founder since that day while releasing multiple singles with various other big labels in the game including Celsius, Fokuz & Viper as well as his first studio album ‘Never Give Up’ on Hospital Records. Liquicity has since turned to into one of the biggest drum&bass record labels & event organisers in the game, staying true to its signature style by fusing immaculate graphic design with high class liquid drum&bass.
Whilst the first official Maduk & Friends was in 2017, it started in spirit the year before with the ‘Never Give Up’ album release show where Mark played a 3-hour set. After the success of the album release show Maduk and Liquicity decided to put on a similar event and Maduk & Friends was born. Since its conception, Maduk & Friends has always taken place in Amsterdam but in 2022, for the first time, it will venture outside of Amsterdam and The Netherlands to London, UK.
Maduk & Friends is a unique event that feels like you are raving with hundreds of your closest friends! No doubt, the UK Edition will carry the same energy.
