Momentum returns to the Wire in May for our biggest lineup of the year!
We are delighted to bring the atmospheric sounds of the illustrious Swedish producer SEBA back to Momentum, for a 90 minute set! Having first released on Bukem’s Good Looking Records back in 1995, he has built up a reputation for deep, timeless drum & bass, that has attracted the likes of Hospital, Innerground, 31 Records & Horizons to name a few. This will be one to remember!
Next up, we’re very proud to have SKEPTICAL back for the first time this year since the astounding response from ‘Marka’. With a dangerous selection of forthcoming releases, on Dispatch, Exit, Commercial Suicide & Samurai, we felt the time was ripe to bring him back.
Following this, we present a Leeds debut one of the most exciting up-and-comers on the scene right now, XTRAH. With past releases on Subtitles & Ram, his superb remix of of Ant TC1’s ‘Mode Destruction’ will be out very soon on Dispatch, plus further releases for Critical.
Fresh from his huge EP for Dispatch, we are flying in the Italian stallion DABS for his UK debut, to deliver a diverse dose of neurofunk. His & Cern’s remix of ‘Back In The Grind’ was a highlight of 2011 – he’s received support from Laurent Garnier, Andy C, Marky, Optical & many more!
Completing the lineup, Momentum resident ONSET returns with a broad selection of cuts from the past and present and as always, MC JC will take control of the mic, hosting the proceedings throughout.
