The annual Jungle Cakes Xmas Party is a legendary bangarang, so we wanted to reconnect with all crew at Brixton Courtyard this festive season for a socially distanced social featuring four incredible artists who have kept the flag flying for carnivalesque dnb throughout 2020.
Joining label big cats Ed Solo and Deekline will be the mighty Benny Page, Dubshotta head honcho and all round killa soundboy. Benny has been a burst of ruffneck energy throughout 2020, collaborating with Deekline on blistering remixes like the duo’s firing rework of “Bam Bam” and ensuring his own Dubshotta imprint must be the hottest sound in current jungle drum & bass. Also joining us will be west country duo Phibes, having driven all before them this year with their global all-genre Beatport No 1 “Homegrown (Phibes remix)”, a sheller so bestial that it ought to be put in its very own cage to stop anyone getting hurt. Support comes from our very own Jessi G B2B with Brighton-based Lockdown hero Ms Pink.
The event will take place over two outdoor, heated and covered arenas at Brixton Courtyard, with tables available in groups of six and full Covid-compliant measures in place
