MIM Foundation Presents:
Instra:mental

Inspirational, humble, irreplaceable โ these are the sentiments that appear again and again in the emotional swell of tributes that have emerged from the global drum โnโ bass underground to salute Manchesterโs quiet low-end godfather, Marcus Intalex.
The artistโs sudden passing has been met with a deep, nostalgic realisation at just how far his influence as a DJ, producer and mentor extends. And thatโs not to mention everyoneโs love of his dry Northern wit and no-nonsense wisdom.
Launched in 2018, the Marcus Intalex Music Foundation (MIMF) was created to nurture music development and the culture that surrounds it.
Half the profits from this show will go towards the Foundation.
For this edition, Instra:mental will be joining us, hot off the release of their โTimelinesโ album, released in September.
Reuniting for their first London show in 3 years, Al Green (Boddika) and Damon Kirkham, as Instra:mental, were responsible for championing a new sound, alongside dBridge, bending the conventional Drum and Bass tempos, slowing it down and allowing the grooves to breathe. This new sound made such a big impact, it was labelled as the Autonomic movement, having surfaced from dBridgeโs Autonomic imprint, party and podcast.
Two more pivotal dnb figures, Doc Scott and co-founder of Soul:R imprint (alongside Marcus Intalex), ST files, roll through alongside MIMF founder Nick Sinna and Sense MC.
Phonox will also be hosting a workshop in conjunction with MIMF for this event. More info to come.
Doors for the bar open from 9:30pm, DJ starts at 10pm.
