It’s that time of year again, where we go sick and put together a huge party to celebrate our birthday! It’s now been 12 years of bringing the best in bass music to York; thanks for all the support!
This year will rival previous birthdays as we bring one of the biggest names in drum&bass to Herbal Mafia for the first time: Dub Phizix featuring guest MC Strategy (Broke’n’£nglish). They are the latest guest on the Fabric Live mix series which is a serious sign of recognition in the scene.
Also on the bill – a very special guest DJ who cannot be revealed yet but is set to smash 2018… Keep your eyes peeled for clues! The first one: He has also released a guest mix on the Fabric Live mix series.
Update – 2nd clue: This will be first UK show in almost a year.
Plus the awesome Vital Techniques & MC PEAN of Second To None Music – Record Label. Consistently developing one of the most exciting bass music labels in the UK; holding down residencies at Outlook Festival & Jungle Jam; getting regular radio airplay off Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1Xtra & KISS FM UK and always delivering a banging set. They really are second to none.
Returning to York we welcome back one of the UK’s best beatboxers Bigg Taj alongside home grown hiphop / comedy hero Spee Six Nine. These guys have supported the hiphop royalty over the years, too many to mention here! One of their highlights of 2017 was being on the telly with Cat Deeley as part of Sky TV’s Ultimate A Capella.
