Born out of a desire to have a home for Jungle & Drum and Bass in Leeds City Centre, the team behind The Old Red Bus Station set about creating an event that catered to the one area that was neglected from Leeds’ weekly music scene – Jungle and Drum and Bass.
Hailing from a background of passionate Leeds DJ’s and promoters who just wanted to have a free jam every week, License To Jungle’s ethos has always been the same; Creating a space for fans of the music to come and enjoy the sounds they love on a regular basis, free of charge, whilst giving a platform to up and coming DJ’s in Leeds.
With that in mind….

Founded in 2006 by Double 0 aka 007 & DJ. Mantra, Rupture’s dedication to providing only the highest quality jungle & breaks has seen them grow as a label and club night into a worldwide brand that has seen them garner fans from around the globe.
Just as comfortable pushing cutting edge experimental jungle as amen rhythms, their commitment to their cause has seen their artists playing worldwide week in, week out, with their regular sessions at London’s ‘Corsica Studios’ remaining consistently busy, with fans travelling from around the world to enjoy their unique sound.
With their 10th birthday falling on the 18th November we felt this was a perfect time to have them up to help them celebrate.
It’s safe to say we are buzzing to welcome these innovators to Leeds for the first time.
