After an illustrious innings with their legendary midweek parties, Swerve are spreading their wings and shifting to Friday nights. They’ll also be making Relay their new stomping ground and to mark this momentous occasion a true legend step up, LTJ Bukem. The classically trained, jazz-fusion pianist is responsible for a plethora of classic genre-defining drum and bass releases such as Logical Progression, Atlantis and, more notably, Horizons. From his Essential Mix in ‘95 to remixing James Bond in ‘97, releasing his first solo album in 2000, as well as promoting his own night Speed with fellow DJ Fabio, Bukem’s atmospheric, jazz-infused blend of drum and bass has been heard all over the globe and one wonders if he’ll ever find time to stop.

Sharing the bill is Marcus Intalex, who’s infamous DJ sets have helped him gain the reputation of being a tastemaker in the scene, never afraid to test crowds with his genre-spanning knowledge of drum and bass. While his house alias Trevino and techno passion has earned him the title of “producer’s producer” he heads up his label Soul:r, working with the likes of Calibre and dBridge and releasing tracks by artists such as S.P.Y. and Instra:Mental.

Of course Fabio take his place alongside and is a man who needs no introduction, Swerve is, after all, his London home. He’s come along way since starting his career at a Pirate Radio Station in the mid 80’s and with more than 25 years of experience you can expect a classic Fabio performance. Joining Fabio will be Swerve ressies Tendai & Chris Intaface offering up slice of their trademark liquid beats.
