3/5, London. Assets 001: Music Support Charity Event @ AAJA

DJ Uno

Hosted by:
Voice MC

Suggested entry donation: £3

Lucrative Recordings’ first event, Assets 001, is a drum & bass charity night raising money for musicians’ mental health charity, Music Support.

Music Support provides help and support for those in any area of the music industry who suffer with alcoholism, addiction, emotional and mental health issues. They operate a 24/7 phone helpline offering peer support, as well as ‘safe tents’ at music festivals where those who may need a moment away from the mayhem, or talk to someone, or attend a 12 step meeting, as well as workshops and training and crisis support.

We have lost many high profile musicians in the industry over the years to mental health and stress, addiction and substance abuse issues, most recently Prodigy legend Keith Flint, as well as many in the drum & bass scene who were close to our hearts.

At Assets and Lucrative Recordings, we believe it’s crucial to talk about these issues, bring them out into the open and raise awareness, and that those in the music industry know there is support out there for them.

AAJA Deptford, just next to Deptford rail station and a short walk from Greenwich DLR.

*This is an intimate event so will fill up quickly, get down early to avoid disappointment!*

We hope you can come down and join us to help us raise awareness of mental health issues in the music industry and to support each other, and have a great time!
